Alocasia Stingray

The Alocasia Stingray is a plant in the Araceae family that is native to Asia's tropical rainforests.

Feed the Alocasia Stingray more regularly than other Alocasias, as it is rather greedy, and can grow up to 2m high.

Water when top 3-4cm of soil becomes dry.

Feed every 3-4 weeks from spring to early autumn with a nitrogen based fertiliser.

Bright, indirect light

If the edges of the leaves turn brown it is likely that the soil is too dry, give it a thorough water and ensure that the water is fully drained before returning it to its decorative pot. Wipe the leaves with a damp cloth to keep them clean.

The height of the plant is meaured from the bottom of the nursery pot. Diameter is that of the nursery pot.
