Philodendron Imperial Red

Philodendron Imperial Red is a hybrid Philodendron plant, belonging to the Araceae family of aroids.

It is a rainforest dweller native to South America.

The name Philodendron comes from the Greek words "philo," meaning "to love," and "dendron," meaning "tree," reflecting the natural disposition of the majority of Philodendrons to climb up trees.

Allow the soil to completely dry out before watering

Feed every 4 weeks from spring to early autumn with a nitrogen based fertiliser.

Moderate, indirect light

If the leaves on your Philodendron Imperial Red are dull move it into a sunnier spot, it needs more light. Wipe the leaves with a damp cloth to keep them clean.
