Philodendron Imperial Green

Philodendron Imperial Green is a cultivar of Philodendron erubescens and is native to Colombia. It is a non-vining Philodendron species that is famous for its large, glossy leaves.

It also produces aerial roots that absorb moisture from the air and help the plant grow epiphytically on other trees. 

The name Philodendron comes from the Greek words "philo," meaning "to love," and "dendron," meaning "tree," reflecting the natural disposition of the majority of Philodendrons to climb up trees.

Allow the soil to completely dry out before watering

Feed every 4 weeks from spring to early autumn with a nitrogen based fertiliser.

Moderate, indirect light

If the leaves on your Philodendron Green are dull move it into a sunnier spot, it needs more light. Wipe the leaves with a damp cloth to keep them clean.

The height of the plant is meaured from the bottom of the nursery pot. Diameter is that of the nursery pot.
