Plant type - Monstera
Ease of care - Easy care
Not pet friendly
Minimum lighting requirements - Shade tolerant, but thrives in moderate, indirect light
Water when top 3-4 cm of soil is dry. Keep soil barely moist in winter.
Feed every 2-3 weeks from spring to early autumn with a nitrogen based fertiliser.
If the edges of the leaves turn brown it is likely that the soil is too dry, give it a thorough water and ensure that the water is fully drained before returning it to its decorative pot. Yellowing leaves are caused by overwatering. If your Monstera doesn't have any fenestrations (holes) it is not getting enough sunlight.
