Feed 3 times a year once in spring, summer and autumn with a nitrogen based fertiliser.
If the edges of the leaves turn brown it is likely that the soil is too dry, give it a thorough water and ensure that the water is fully drained before returning it to its decorative pot. Excessive leaf drop is common, it is caused by changes in light levels and temperature, along with cold drafts. It may take your plant a few weeks to adjust to a new place. Wipe the leaves with a damp cloth to keep them clean.
